Test question

for 2 years drs. have been looking for crohns I have so many symptoms including 100#weight loss in 7 mo and so little energy. pill cam came back negative cal protection is positive I have positive inflammation markers and he said my colonoscopy visually looked fine but took a ton of biopsies. is it possible for the biopsies to be positive even though visually I looked fine? I am soooo tired of this!

Yes, it is quite possible in Crohn's for there to be inflammation smoldering below the surface of the gut such that the gut looks normal but the histology report of the tissue specimens comes back with signs of inflammation.
