I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis this year. It started last year while I was pregnant but was just put down to pregnancy! I'm currently on prednisolone (not helping though). My boy will be one this month and we've started talking about when we might like another baby.
Of course I'd like to get my symptoms under control before even trying, and I know I need to speak to my doctor about it. I was just wondering your experiences - does it affect fertility? Does getting pregnant during a flare mean it lasts for the pregnancy? Is there risk to baby?
