A question about lymph nodes / lymphoma

I have been on remicade for about 2-3 years now and I have a swollen lymph node on the side of my neck. I have had it for about 2 years. I went to my doctor at the time and she said it was a swollen lymph node but did not seem to worried about it. i noticed that i still have the swollen lymph node and about 2 inches apart from it I have a pea sized lump that is painless. Is there a high possibility it can be cancer? should i be worried? I have the pea sized bump on both sides of my neck so maybe it is meant to be there.Anybody experience this? I guess I am really considered because I am on remicade.

I’ve actually had quite a few issues with lymph nodes since being on Humira. They are often swollen because my body just never gets over infections as it once did. When mine are swollen there are often a few bumps that follows the lymph node track. I did end up getting an ultrasound recently just to make sure all it is a swollen lymph node and I do encourage you to do the same. Stress to your doctor you’d like to do it as a preventative measure.

Have you thought about doing massages to drain your lymphatic system? You can find the how to online but sometimes it actually can help to drain some of those lymph nodes.

Also—-have you been cleared to be on antibiotics for more than the recommended week? I ended up having to get a bunch of test done to rule out other causes for why my body does not recover fully from infections. Often if your WBC levels are high and you have active swelling in your lymph nodes they do prescribe them.

I do not really get sick to need antibotics. I do noticed that sometimes my lymph node is swollen and sometimes it is not.
