confused, sudden pain, diet related

i had my last shot of humira on may 2019. on a daily basis , i am completely symptom free since i was last admitted to hospital and they gave me steroids etc. currently i am only on pentasa and azothioprine. i feel good most days and able to eat freely. but, last month i had this eggplant dish in a chinese restaurant and i got abdominal pain. i took 1 tramadol tab and slept. after that it was okay. nothing more after that. today i had falafel and again i started having pain.
is there any specific diet i need to follow?
i dont understand what is going on. can someone explain to me why is this happening?
