Humira and Positive TB Test

In January 2021 I had a positive test result for TB.
I had been taking Humira for almost 3 years.
I had no TB symptoms and nothing negative on my chest x-ray, so a doctor treated me for latent TB.
My treatment was Rifampin every day for 4 months.
I am done with my Rifampin treatment, but I will always test positive for TB.

Has anyone else tested positive for TB after taking Humira?

I have a friend who recovered from TB, but it was unrelated to Crohns as far as I know. He's 85 now and still kicking, even with COPD. I hope you get answers soon. Hugs.

You will almost certainly remain positive by the TB skin test for your entire life, long after you are cured of the infection. It's less certain for the TB blood test, but the majority of those also continue testing positive even after successful treatment of the infection. So the TB tests cannot be used to monitor success of the therapy.
