Blood in poo after infusion

Hi there!

Was wondering if anyone has had the same experience as me.

I've been on Infliximab for a few years now, and bar a single flare up about 20 months ago, I've been absolutely fine and pain free.

A couple of times immediately after infusions though there has been blood in my poo. No pain, no symptoms, nothing, just the blood.

Is this common? Anyone else had something similar?

Does this just happen right after the infusion? I would have this sometimes the day after the infusion. It would be only that day and then everything would be fine. If it continues for several days then that maybe a sign of a flare.

Ive been having Remicade infusions for several months and was feeling awesome. Just this month I had some bleeding a few days after my infusion. My Dr took blood tests which all came back normal. He is still going to do a colonoscopy this week to see what is going on. Contact your doctor.
