    Babies & crohns

    My 5 mth old grandson is showing signs of Crohn's. I've got it had it for 22 years so I know what to look for. My question is can babies get it that young or am I being a worried granny. Thanks.

    Illeostomy & alcohol?

    I have a Illeostomy with high water output most of the time. Is there any alcohol drinks that I can drink that will not cause higher out put than what I have now? I've tried beer, whiskey & coke but find myself emptying the bag more often than usually. Any advice will be much appreciated. 😃

    IIeostomy stoma bag keeps leaking :(

    I've just have IIeostomy surgery and am stuck in hospital because my bag keeps leaking. Because of this the skin around the stoma is red raw and very sore! My stoma is not in a good position as I had to have emergency surgery so they didn't find a good position for it, so its around my wound...

    Anyone heard of a plane (tap) block???

    I have been offered a tap block for pain relief after my bowel surgery. They put a catheter in both sides just below the ribs and inject something numbing the nerves around or near the wound.
