    Back pain - help!

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I have a question. I've noticed since I've gotten back on prednisone that every time I eat my lower back starts to hurt and I have to go to the bathroom not long after. Sometimes it gets so intense that I end up throwing up. I relayed this...

    Answers please...

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, but I've been taking Humira for over a year and have recently started Sulfasalazine and folic acid. For about a month now the joints on the right side of my body have swelled up. Wrist, elbow, knee, and ankle. At first it was just my wrist and then...

    Some interesting news

I had my colonoscopy today and it looks like my Crohn's has spread to my colon. (Originally diagnosed with it just in the t.i.) My GI decided to up my dose of prednisone to 40mg and continue my Humira weekly injections. I had been feeling like crap until I quit smoking which my dr. did not know...

    Annoyed

I really dislike when people who don't have this disease or those who aren't educated about it try and tell me how I should handle it. My mother in law keeps telling me that I just need to exercise more or I need to eat better. Sometimes it's a struggle to get off the couch and some of the foods...

    Update: good news so far!

Hi everyone, I take my Humira shot tomorrow (did my starter dose and then 2 shots 2 weeks after, now onto the one shot) and I must say this is the best I've felt since I was pregnant. I have my energy back (thank God because I have 3 kids), my appetite is great, no more stomach pains, and I...

    Question about probiotics

I just started taking a probiotic on Wednesday and been having some bloating and more gas than usual (tmi!) My question is, is this a normal thing? It's not too much of a problem seeing as I deal with going to the bathroom multiple times a day. Just wondering if anyone taking probiotics has had...

    Started Humira

Just wanted to give an update that I was finally able to start Humira yesterday. It didn't hurt like I thought it would; I read some reviews that had me nervous haha. Fingers crossed this works!

    Some good news!

I will FINALLY be starting Humira next week! I'm not looking forward to injecting myself, but I'm so ready for something to start working. Hoping this is my wonder medicine and I can finally get back into remission!

    Just a rant, I apologize

The past few days have been rough. I've been having horrible stomach cramping and been visiting the bathroom more than I want to. I'm pretty sure it was something I ate that caused this, but I'm not sure what exactly. I'm only currently taking 20mg of prednisone. I've also had bad back pain...

    Need some advice about Humira

I'm supposed to be starting Humira soon and I'm pretty nervous/anxious/excited. I was just wondering how others responded to it. I know everyone is different and these medicines affect us all differently. I heard you can feel like you have the flu for a few days after. I have 3 kids to chase...

New here, but not to Crohn's

I am 23 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's at the age of 11. It started with joint pain and the doctor thought I had JRA. After months of hardly being able to eat and losing a significant amount of weigh, my mom got fed up and took me to the ER where they were pretty sure I had Crohn's...
