Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

This research doesn’t surprise me at all. Biologics/immunosuppressants all made me 1000x worse, and my GI doctor basically blamed it on me saying I was probably smoking cigarettes, weed, or drinking alcohol and that was what caused them not to work. I was in fact doing none of those things and...

    Unusual path to success

Brutale— as far as cannabis, did you smoke, eat edibles? For me smoking does nothing positive for Crohn’s, but ingesting very high doses of oil does. I think most people would have a hard time with the dose i take but I had to work up to it. 1000-1500mg of thc and an equal amount of cbd...

Haven’t been here in a while, gotten control of my disease with cannabis oil and testosterone injections

This is the study I found that led me to trt. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9692696/

    Unusual path to success

Trt and cannabis oil have put me in and held me in remission. The oil handles the inflammation and the trt seems to almost eliminate all the other symptoms. Here’s the study I found that led me to trt. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9692696/

Haven’t been here in a while, gotten control of my disease with cannabis oil and testosterone injections

I was diagnosed around 5 years ago. Upon initial diagnosis I was put on prednisone and sulfasalazine. Then switched to 6-mp, then was supposed to be put on humira. Upon investigating humira, I decided I was done with my GI doc and went a quest for remission through my own research and trial and...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I'm not sure why ppl try so hard to steer away from thc...I find high thc levels combined with cbd actually help me the most. Taking away thc is taking away the best part of the medicine...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

High doses of thc and cbd together (they work synergistically) are actually more effective for inflammation than just cbd...I feel most mmj studies are designed to cast the plant in a negative light. I'd like to see a study where they actually test potent oils on patients. So ridiculous that...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

The da Vinci ascent vaporizer is the best I've ever used for dry erb as far as portables go. Volcanos are awesome but are way too expensive...just my 2 cents

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

In my personal experience the more I use the more it helps...I've found that medicating 3x a day seems to keep me symptom free...twice a day would prob do it but i have a floating shoulder that hurts pretty much constantly and it helps with that also...I would say it's probably different from...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I'm not a medical professional and can't tell you what remicade could potentially interact with...but in my opinion (which is not professional nor is it meant to be advice) the cannabinoids would help, but remicade does weaken the immune system and I believe makes u more susceptible to infection...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

I would say twice a day, but I'm only basing this on the fact that you said that you have severe crohn's and you def can't take too much CBD...they prob aren't cheap so maybe experiment and see what dosage seems to help the most, I know if I could get em I would much on em like candy all day...

Sticky Medical Marijuana for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Cannabis helps me tremendously, stops bleeding, makes for smoother BM's, helps stomach pain and nausea, helps with inflammation in and out of the gut (I have RA as well), and helps with depression/general malaise. I'm not sure how it works in Michigan, but I'm sure a google search would turn up...
