Diagnosed with Crohn's disease in August of '93
April '03 - Total colectomy
January '04 - J pouch surgery.
July '04 - Take down of ileostomy, hook up to J pouch.
May '06 - After constant pouchitis, went back to a temp ileostomy. Still had J pouch, just not hooked up.
July '07 - Emergency removal of the J pouch after it ruptured inside me.
9.2012 - I still have my ileostomy. I still have my rectum, so there is hope that one day, I will be able to have another reversal surgery.
