    Misdiagnosed

    My doctor told me today that I don't have Crohn's disease. He says that I have ulcerative colitis. He says that he has wondered for a while why I had the initial diagnosis of Crohn's disease? Does this happen a lot? Does it even make a difference?

    Sorbitol

    Today I am prepping with Sorbitol. It is no where as bad as the Go Lightly. I just hate the mental part of it. The thought of drinking it, makes me want to puke. I have four more left. Is there anyway to make it easier? I do this once a year so you would think I would be used to it by now.

    I am so glad I found this forum. Tonight I had to give myself a shot and I iced my thigh first. I would never have thought to do that until I read about it in this forum.     Weight Loss

    For those of you that have had surgery, how much weight did you lose? I am probably going to have a resection (I am not sure of the terms) where I have a blockage. My doctor said to plan on 3-7 days in the hospital. I was just curious how much weight others have lost.
