How to travel overseas with 1 year of Skyrizi? let's brainstorm

Like MLP said - how will you get your doctor/pharmacy to dispense a years' worth of medication? Usually there is a limit on how much of any medication can be dispensed at one time - usually a 30-90 day supply... I don't know how you would be able to transport and carry a years' worth with you...

Christmas Eve, my car was lost, later found

Wow what an ordeal!! I’ve noticed with my iPhone, it knows when I’m driving and will actually send me a notification with my vehicle location automatically when I park. Usually at least, not 100% of the time and I hope I don’t have to use it.

Need help re MRI freaking out

I agree with Scipio- the report seems to be referring to a structure, or narrowing of the bowel at a specific point.

    Remission-how long?

All depends on the treatment...... I think I was into remission within 6 months of starting Remicade, and have been on it now for over 17 years with only little blips here and there.

    Couple fistula questions.

Hi there - drainage can have odor, especially if it is fecal matter, or there can be infection. OTher things with infection can be fever, swelling/redness around fistula. Haven't had any exploratory procedure(s) done for fistulas - mine were pretty straightforward. Treatment can vary -...

Anyone had to undergo D&C for miscarriage and on Remicade(or any other Biologics)?

I haven't been in that situation, but have had surgery (elbow) and also recently (early June) had UFE dohne (Uterine Fibroid Embolization) with no major side effects/infections. Normally you stay on your regular infusion schedule unless you have an infection/are ill.....I try to schedule any...

    Remicade rash

Look into drug-induced psoriasis - also Gutatte Psoriasis.....I had a huge flare up years ago now where pretty much my entire trunk was covered...I had issues with any area on my body that had a 'fold' too.....it took quite a while, but I'm 99% clear now, with the occasional flare up of a spot...

    Seton placement

Sounds like you should contact your Dr if you haven't already...the seton could be plugged up and not draining - are you able (or been told to) to clean around it and make sure it isn't scabbed over?

I'm so frustrated with my doctors!

Oh geeze! Hope you are able to heal up...any idea why/how the Dr office managed to screw that up? I'm dealing with somewhat similar circumstances with my Dr/clinic- thankfully my Remicade prescription has been getting renewed (the office staff are actually on top of that), however I am...

    Can't turn around a flare - advice

Also - how long has been on the prednisone? 40mg isn't that high - when I was a teen/young adult it would take 60mg at least to get me started toward remission when I flared. I also agree it may be time for inpatient to get things settled - when I was a child (was diagnosed @7 y/o) I...

    Major skin issues

I have had skin issues since being on Remicade - it is possible. Does the rash look like psoriasis? Is it patchy or solid...could possibly be a pseudo-psoriasis. I'd look into a second opinion and also make sure his GI is aware of the skin issue.
