    Starting Humira

It took a few years to go into remission. There are a few days scattered here and there that are "Crohnish" days. No D for me. Best of Luck Mike

Positive ANA Test due to Humira??

Well I had the wind knocked out of my sails by my GP on Friday. He draws the blood for my every three month blood tests ordered by my GI doc. He said I had a positive ANA test (anti nuclear antibodies). Being that this was the first time this was mentioned, I am worried. I am awaiting a call...

I have had back surgery 19 years ago and have had bas muscle spasms since. I informed me pain management doc that I started H. I explained that H can lower one's immunity. He suggested that we stop the injections which are a combination of cortisone (cortcosteroid) and lidocaine. He said...

Bye Bye Fistula! The H worked!

After 1 1/2 years and two surgeries the weekly Humira injections have made the perianal fistula disappear! Before the weekly dosage the fistula would open again after 10 days, never making it the 14 days. I had another fistulotomy in October, it healed very well and all that was left was a...

    Humira Swollen Glands?? Opinions?

OK, I'm going on week 3 of swollen glands in my throat. They started to act up after my Humira injection on 8/25. I had a slight fever and felt very tired. I called my GI doc and he thought there was nothing to be concerned about, probably a bug and advised me to see my GP. I went to the GP...

    Denied Humira

The insurance company denied my doc's request for Humira to close the fistula and control the CD. The company that screens med requests say I should go on 6 MP first and then if it does not work for a period of a year then maybe Humira. Both my CR and GI docs are attiment about the Humira...
