Crohn's has really been a blessing in disguise for me. I am more empathetic, and am a stronger person for it. It gives me a challenge. I have awesome laproscopic surgery scars and photos of the intestine piece they removed. My specialist also did research projects with my intestine, and grew cool bacteria from it!
