    The pill...

I was on birth control for years before my crohn's diagnosis without any problems. Since my diagnosis my period has been very irregular while on birth control. Originally thought maybe it was the variety, so I tried 4 different kinds and then gave up and went off of them. My period is now normal...

Diagnosed yday & v scared :-( advice please

I don't have experience with your other condition, so I can't really comment on that, but I wanted to say that my crohn's is similar (constipation, no weight loss). I think, at least for me, that's why it went undiagnosed for so long. I would call your doctor and see if they can make a...

I believe he called it an ileocecal resection. He said he believes they should only have to remove about a foot but won't really know until they get in.

    Need input. I'm pretty nervous

If you're already mid-way through prep than you're almost there! The prep is the worst. The actual procedure, for me anyway, was easy peasy! Good luck!

    My Battle with Crohn's Disease

That all sounds incredibly frustrating. I recently, after a hospitalization for a partial bowel obstruction, was put on a low fiber diet. I borrowed my brother's juicer and have been juicing becasue I feel like it's my only option to consume anything healthy. I don't really have any advice, but...

How to (nearly) Die From Crohn's Disease at 19

I definitely did the irregular use of meds and such when first diagnosed. A bit of denial and a bit of being stubborn. Welcome to the forum (I'm a newbie too)

Hi, I'm Heather. I'm a 34 year old single mom of 2 little boys. I was recently diagnosed in January of 2011. I think I've had Crohn's forever. I never had the typical symptoms of weight loss and diarrhea so i think my other symptoms were always just overlooked. They blamed the horrendous...
