    Overview of Humira

I have been on Humira for one year and four months. So far, I have felt really good. My Gastro doctor said I was in remission after a year. I did not have the typical Crohn's symptoms that most people think about. No diarrhea, just the opposite. I had many arthritis flares, including IRitis...

Thoughts on routine Colonoscopy during Pandemic

I had a colonoscopy in July as a 1 year follow-up to Crohn's diagnosis, and being on Humira. All went well and I am in remission. Feeling good. I was a little nervous, but, it worked out for me. If your doctor agrees to put it off for a few months and you are doing well, that sounds like a...

    Question about crohns and fatigue

Just my two cents worth, years ago(almost twenty), I had severely low iron. The only reason given at that time..It may have been poor absorption?? It built back up, slowly, with "Slow FE" and vitamin C taken with it. Years later, thyroid problems(I was feeling tired); now taking generic...

    Not having it

Sorry for your problems. It must be so frustrating. Keep persisting. I realize that I had several symptoms before I was diagnosed with Crohns and I didn't think to tell the doctor about all of them. I blamed it on being out of shape, old sge, etc. I am taking Humira and have been treated for H...

Before I started taking it, I was treated for H. Pylori, which was discovered during an endoscopy. I was being checked for...

I had cataract surgery (cataracts caused by steroids). They did it quickly, not much waiting. Sometimes it depends on your complaints about vision problems.

I am waiting to see what medication that will be recommended for my recently diagnosed Crohns. I have been reading about the biologics and it sounds like that may be the route I take.
