    Blood! Urgent

I just went to the toilet and had a lot of blood in my Diarrhoea. I've had Crohn's since 2004 and never had this happen. Last night I had really severe pains and now this. I'm really worried. Should I go to the hospital? Is it normal to have blood in diarrhoea?

    Chinese/Alternative medicine

Hi everyone, Do any of you know of or have tried any Chinese/alternative therapies as a part of your Crohn's treatment? If so, what are they/did they work. I'm getting to the stage where I am willing to give anything a go and I'd be really interested to hear from you guys on this subject. I've...

I've been told a number of different things about what most Crohn's sufferers need and was curious to find out what you guys think. I've heard that krill oil is supposed to be quite effective for inflammation. Any feedback would...

    G'day

G'day everyone, I'm a 27 year old guy from Australia, diagnosed with Crohn's in December 2004. At first I refused to believe it and after about 6 months on mesalazine/prednisone I took myself off my meds. I felt pretty good for the next few years, having only a few "flares", which I convinced...

    Prep for colonoscopy

Hi guys, A little while ago I had to have a colonoscopy and was given pico-prep and then told to use glycoprep (to make sure I was empty). I took the pico-prep and had the most horrible reaction to it. The pain was unbearable (I couldn't stand up straight and I was vomiting uncontrollably). I...
