    Filgotinib

Hi Folks. I'm doing my induction for the phase 3 trial of Filgotinib tomorrow. Is anybody else on the forum in the same trial? As I progress through the trial (if I'm accepted) I'm also happy to share how I'm going. I've run out of treatment options (keeping Stelara in my back pocket in case...

    Stoma misadventures and epic fails

Thought it might be fun to share some silly stoma stories. I was at the movies yesterday when I decided to do a sneaky bag burp. I was in a slightly reclined position - but not laying down. Unsnapped the top and applied a little pressure to squeeze the air out. Air escapes .... and ..... of...

Does anybody know if it's safe to use Emla after colorectal surgery?

I'm finding the pain post surgery more than a little excruciating. Pooping is extremely painful - to the point of not eating for two days at a time. Painkillers are doing nothing to alleviate the sensation of passing fish hooks and razor blades. Does anybody know it it's safe to use Emla On my...

    Um - no - it wasn't undigested tomatoes ...

I remember the first time I looked down in the toilet bowl – I’m not sure why I bothered to look – and I thought it was undigested tomatoes. I was confused as I had not eaten pasta recently. Why would I have undigested tomato in my poop? It was about twenty years ago, I was out drinking and...
