    Boniva Generic approved to prevent osteoperosis.

    Generic for Boniva (IBANDRONATE SODIUM) was approved 03/20/2012 from Watson labs. This means for those of us that take Boniva to prevent osteopersosis due to long-term prednisone therapy can save some money. I am not sure about your pharmacy, but mine (CVS) charges about $40 per pill.
