Lucky guy, same story as me, polyarthritis type 2 right after colitis remission.
I wish I had the same happy ending....
Not only I failed methotrexate for my IBD (i relapsed while trying it), it also failed to help my arthritis.

past meds:
pred 50mg, 5-ASA (pill, rectal), cortifoam, Imuran, Purinethol, methotrexate.

My Support Groups:
Second that Mtx alone was not enough for ds
When added to humira he is "ok" but not great
His is type 2 as well which flares independent of his crohns
