Two of my children have Crohn's disease. Their 20 something cousin has always been able to eat whatever he wants without gaining weight. In fact, he cannot gain weight and is a slim 6' 1" at 160 lbs. He doesn't have any other symptoms and feels good in general, but it takes him at least a half hour to have a bm (always has) and his diet is good and he works out nearly every day.
I'm concerned that he might have Crohn's, too, because my son's symptoms were very mild, for a couple of years.
I'd like him to get tested, but he doesn't have health insurance. Is there an inexpensive way to find out if he actually has IBD?
Any info appreciated!
