• Welcome to Crohn's Forum, a support group for people with all forms of IBD. While this community is not a substitute for doctor's advice and we cannot treat or diagnose, we find being able to communicate with others who have IBD is invaluable as we navigate our struggles and celebrate our successes. 2021 The year of hospitalizations and new treatment

After many years of quiet and relative no symptoms, 2021 is going out with a bang. I had 2 in hospital for bowel obstructions this year, and am currently on step down prednisone. Insurance just approved Stelara Infusions for me this week after denial and appeals process. Hoping everyone can gain remission and enjoy life. It is precious. I have been living with Crohns for 20 years now after the initial resection.

I just received my Stelara Infusion on October 29th, 2021. I hope that we both have a better 2022 than 2021.
