• Welcome to Crohn's Forum, a support group for people with all forms of IBD. A good news day!! :)

Just home from a routine surveillance colonoscopy, 2 years after initial diagnosis of Crohn's colitis, and "colon and terminal ileum appear normal" (biopsies to come..)
WOOHOO!! :)))

Sulfasalazine 3gm/day is the only "official" IBD med (I take 1gm tds, seems to work better for me than 1.5gm bd)
Other than that, VitD, Ca, Mg, fish oil, probiotics (2varieties daily)
The extra intestinal manifestations are my biggest problem - SI and costochondral joints get a daily rub with voltaren gel and diprosone cream, and the iritis tends to stay quiet if the colon is ;)
