ACNE after surgery

I'm not really sure what the reason is, which is why I am posting this.
After my 11 day stay in the hospital, 10 lb weight loss and surgery I've developed SEVERE acne. Every morning I wake up it seems to be worse. What's the reason for this? I never had problems with acne so it seems strange. Am I lacking a vitamin? I've been googling it without much help.

I got bad acne after my surgery as well, and never figured out why. I actually bought the Proactiv stuff I saw on tv, and it's great! Cleared it up and haven't had a problem since...
