Good afternoon members, I have been a fan of this forum for over a decade and apredicate all of the helpful advice on this site.
I am posting first time because I am feeling very frustrated and only fellow Crohnies will understand.

I was diagnosed with crohns in 2004 so I have had my fare share experience of hospital stays, surgeries, failing medication and stress of the disease. Currently, I am on maximum dose of a bio similar for Remicade and was told from my recent MRI result that i am currently in a flare. I am on and off Steroids until my specialist appointment comes up. On top of this, I have been diagnosed with Scleriit’s (inflammation of the white part of the eye ball) which is apparently associated with the crohns. Due to my eye issue, I had to leave my job which i did while working from home on my laptop.

Has anyone been diagnosed with Scleritis or something similar? What has helped you?
Anyone in remission on a biologic medicine that is not Remicade?
Any natural healing success stories? Especially relating to self care and holistic healing.

Im open to any advice or trying something new.

p.s. stay strong 💪🏽

Do they have you on steriods drops for the eye ?
They have ones with fluomethsone (I think ) which will calm the eye right away .

https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-su...riptions,only with your doctor's prescription.

The steriod is not absorbed by the body
Heals the eye inflammation
My adult child had epi scleritis more than a few times as a result of crohns inflammation

Once he switched from humira as a kid to Stelara
Things were good
Drops cleared it up every time
See an opthamologist (Md with eye )
Not an optometrist who does not have an Md
That should fix it while you wait to change drugs

Also let your Gi know so they can move up the appt
