Adding calories to everyday food

adding calories to everyday food

This might be a dumb question, but is there such a thing (like a powder or spice) that you can just add to what you are cooking which would add calories. Am I thinking of protein powder? I know there's something, I've lost so much weight that I don't even want to leave the house. I'm very frail and ill looking, and recovering from surgery so I am looking for advice on eating and adding calories! Thanks

A little butter or olive or coconut oil. Sliced avocado has a lot of calories.

There are many kinds of protein powders like hemp, soy, egg white, whey, rice, and pea, so if one doesnt agree with you, you can try another.

Or try a meal replacement drink like ensure between meals. They have high calorie and high protien formulas.
