Anal leakage

I do not have Crohn's or IBS but have been having leakage problems since I was put on a statin drug for cholesterol and became very constipated which caused a tear in the rectum. Stopped the statin drug, BM's became normal again. Then put on Metformin for pre-diabetes. Was warned about "loose" stool but not about leakage. It looks and smells like feces and I too worry about the smell (I am a large girl and wiping is sometimes very difficult). And like others, it starts a couple of hours after a BM. If I wipe any more, my bumhole will be relocated!

I am going to a new PCP next week, hopefully she can help.
