Every so often I have these anal or rectal spasms. They are very painful, but fortunately do no last long. I always seem to get them when my intestines have been particularly irritable. Anyway, on Wikipedia they are called "Proctalgia fugax (or levator syndrome, also known as anal cold) is a severe, episodic, rectal and sacrococcygeal pain.[1] It can be caused by cramp of the pubococcygeus or levator ani muscles. It most often occurs in the middle of the night[3] and lasts from seconds to minutes..." Anyone else have these too?

No I haven't. If I did though I'd mention it to my GI. Perhaps there's something they could prescribe to help you at least feel better.

Sorry i can't really help you, I only have pains like that when I have been running to the toilet all the time with D and when I am having a BM. I think the best thing is to say to the GI like crabby said.

I think I've been having these tOo but connected to either hemmies and of diarrhea,I don't know. The pain also radiates into my left cheek which is weird and new..anyone else have that?

Hey guys been doing epsom salt baths for a few days now still have pain but no more spasms and the pain is better hopefully it will get better as i do more of them

Yes, I also have rectal spasms. Sits baths, Sits baths, Sits baths! What also helped me is Hydrocortisone/Lidocaine Rectal suppositories and opium and belladonna suppositories.
I also use Empi TENS Units – that is a little box with electrodes that runs on a battery. Electrodes are attached on the outside of your rectal opening via a little sticky pads.
They vibrate and massage that area to relive spasms and tension. People with back or knee pain use Empi units all the time.
