So now I am having intense cramping, like its that time of the month, which I never had before my proctocolectomy. Is this normal? It almost feels like all the muscles in my rear end and 'women parts' are going crazy.

I don't have any advice about this either....I never got cramps with my period so can't even relate. I don't recall having any crampy feelings after my surgery either. I'd call the Dr. and let them know what's going on. Sorry this hasn't been more helpful.
