I'm really confused about antibiotics and Crohn's Disease. I am going to my NP at my PCP office on Thursday to check me for a possible UTI. If I am prescribed an antibiotic will it be bad for my Crohn's Disease ? My current treatment plan is Stelara, MTX, Folic acid and Budesonide.

Some antibiotics can cause diarrhea in normal folks and crohns patients
That said some patients have no issues with antibiotics ever

But antibiotics for infections are necessary
My kiddo does not have any issues with them
