Anyone other women have problems with their lady parts??

About 4 years ago I had an abscess on my vagina that hurt like hell untill it popped. I was told it was my Bartholing Gland (lady gland that helps with lubercation) a year later I had the same thing but on the otherside. I continued to get small Abscess and constant puss draining from little tiny holes near my vagina. The doctors were all puzzled so I went to a Cancer surgen who "confirmed" it was my Bartholin Gland. So he gave it a "nice" opening to drain (which didn't help!!) and then a few months later removed it. It took almost a year to fully recover and I was left with a nasty scare b/c "it was a mess in there". For a short time it seemed to be better but still had aloth of the same problems. Over the past year it has gotten worse. Those tiny holes are now a good size and there are more. My period is even more wackier and my swelling and pain seems to increase with each period. So I went back to the doctors... This time a new specialist and a new gyno. After seeing first hand what I was seeing and feeling they beleive it maybe Chrone's. I guess in very very few cases you can have vaginal signs years before GI signs. >>In short I have constant Abscess w/ every period, periods are super wacky, fistulas on lower vagina that leak puss, and an anal tag(just for good measure! it is not a hemroid).
Has anyone else had these problems????

Not exactly the same as your problems, twow, but I am having problems with my lady bits too. Was having vomiting and bad pelvic and lower right stomach pains and recurrent UTIs. Had an ultrasound a few weeks back and it showed up not a gynie but a bowel problem - a loop is inflamed and not 'pulsating'. Doc thinks the UTIs are related cos the loop is right next to my bladder. Having a surgical consult at the end of Feb to determine what the cause is.
Oh, and I have a dreaded tag too.....................:frown:

Thanks Grumbletum! NO UTI's or GI problems, thank goodness, although I do constantly have small bacterial infections that don't seems to really bother me but I am always no some antibotic to make it go away, again thank goodness. it is just really weird, and the Crohn's theory came out of left field after hear 4 years of "bartholine gland".

It could be possible that it wasn't the gland at all, but fistuas?.....do you leak anything besides pus?.....I dealt with rectovaginal fistulas for a couple of years....but mine were pretty easily diagnosed as they def. leaked!

Pasobuf!! yes that is what the new doctors are saying that my problem has NOTHING to do with the Gland, which make me want to cry thinking about how painful the removal of the gland was and how those same doctors were ready to do it again!! After saying that is a painful option I was sent to a Vulva Specialist (who by the way I had not idea even existed!! where was she 4 years ago as a reccomendation) The specialist and NEW Gyno are referring to my holes as fistulas, after the GI visit and colonioscapy they want to put a die in the holes to see where they go. they leak puss and time to time a small amount of blood. I have about 4 of them..And it seems when every I get me monthly friend I end up with an abscese..What did your doc's do about yours? or is there nothing to be done..

I'm having a similar issue, I have been in treatment for HS for years with plenty of kenelog injections in my vulva. Last week I was diagnosed with Crohn's and my abscesses have been draining like crazy. My vulvar specialist told me I actually have vulvar Crohn's and probably not HS. So my abscesses are fistulas and not abscess. My GI is trying to get my health ins to approve humira, and she thinks it will help. She also told me that if it doesn't I will need to see a colorectal sergon, fun stuff. I have done some research online and I think the can plug the fistulas. Who would have thought?
