Hi Brian and welcome! I'm so glad you joined! :) And thank you for sharing your story, it was a very interesting read. My heart goes out to you, I know you've been on quite a roller coaster ride. A few questions for you if you will:

1. What are the symptoms of your Raynaud's and Meniere’s? Balance issues and pain in your fingers?

2. How did the infectious disease specialist rule out TB of the GI tract? What specific tests did he do? I ask because I know there are a few people here who are having a hard time ruling that out.

3. Have you had your vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels tested? If so, what were they?

Again, welcome! It's great to have you here :)

Hey Brian,

Thanks for sharing your symptoms :) That's really weird. Do they have any idea what changes in the body that causes either of those diseases? It's amazing what we take for granted when it's working properly. I'd never think what it would be like to have to adjust for hot and cold like that. It sounds like you've adjusted well, good for you :) I have problems adjusting personally :D

2. Interesting, I wasn't aware of that. Something more to research :) Thanks for that info!

3. That's some low D ya got there. Are you supplementing? Do you know what your specific B12 level is? Vitamins and minerals are kinda a passion of mine. I probably annoy many here with it, so apologies in advanced ;)

It sounds like you have everything covered, that's great :)

As you research stuff, by all means, please feel free to share anything and everything you find in threads here or our wiki. We're looking to add as much well-sourced information as possible which in itself has turned into a full time job :)

I agree regarding the pillcam. What's frustrating is how often I see people's insurance turn them down for it.
