I had the calprotectin test. Mine came back normal, like everything else! I think it is suppose to show signs of inflammation. I was having watery D at the time of the test. Good luck with your test.

can it come back as normal and still have crohns or any ibd for that matter ? i am paying fot this test myself and hope its of some value in getting diagnosed xx

My GI did not rule out crohns from the test. From what I'm starting to learn on this forum, a lot of test can come back normal and still have an ibd. I think it is an expensive lab test. I have spent a lot of money and still have no answers. I understand your frustration!
