Can anyone relate, head tightness.

Hi. Cutting the long story short, is there anyone who gets a feeling you have a cap in your head? I get this from time to time(like during my flare ups). Just wanna know if this is related to crohn's.

Hi Talk2bash42 and welcome to the forum! :D Sorry for the late reply.

What you describe sounds like a tension headache. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/tension-headache/DS00304 Stress is listed as the most common trigger. Yet if you're on any medications some can cause headaches as a side effect or it could be related to a vitamin deficiency, lack of sleep, dehydration etc. Crohn's can cause all of the above and any of them could be the cause of your headaches. Could you have your doctor run some blood work to check your vitamin levels to see if that's the cause? Low vit D for example can cause headaches and its commonly low for people with Crohn's.

Keep us posted on how you're doing. :)
