• Welcome to Crohn's Forum, a support group for people with all forms of IBD. While this community is not a substitute for doctor's advice and we cannot treat or diagnose, we find being able to communicate with others who have IBD is invaluable as we navigate our struggles and celebrate our successes. Co-pay assistance programs for biologics

As the new year begins, I just wanted to let new readers know that there are co-pay assistance programs for most biologics. If you have private insurance, the programs are independent of your income. We have good insurance for the most part, but our co-pay for infused drugs is 20%, which means that our co-pays for Remicade were about $1000 each. The Janssen CarePath program reimbursed us for this cost. My daughter switched to Inflectra recently so I just signed her up for the Pfizer enCompass program.

I don't have personal experience with them, but I think that there are also programs for Humira, Stelara, and Cimzia.
