Collecting SSI and Disability for Kids with Crohn's

Ssi is parent income dependent
There is a website that lists the federal poverty levels for ssi
And if your income above this level
No matter your child's disease you can't collect ssi
Most states have medical assistance through the state (supplemental insurance)
That can be added to parent insurance when kids have Crohns

Medicaid is the extra or single insurance through the state
Before you can qualify for Medicaid the state makes sure you don't qualify for ssi based on income
So unless your income changed the odds are she won't qualify
You can apply on the ssa website online

Basically just apply for ssi online for her then you will know
