Blood is red like normal and separate from feces. But does a fissure make an infection and they inspected the rectum with a camera and said nothing about fissure? Does fissure make a higher calcprotetcine?
Calprotectine is not an exact science, it's only roughly accurate. So I wouldn't worry too much about that and as far as chrons is concerned your levels are not high. When I was really suffering my levels were over 1000+.
If your blood is red then it means its happening closer to your anus and likely a fissure. Fissures can occur anywhere from the colon up into the large intestine. It's like a tear in the wall meaning you have a bleed and just like a tear on the outside of your skin the ones on the inside can also get infected.
I imagine the doctor will prescribe you something like antibiotics for the infection but you should go on a healthy diet just for a few weeks till it heals properly at the very least. The diet doesn't have to be specific, I'm just talking about eating healthy foods for a few weeks. Stay off the alcohol, no processed foods, no processed drinks, no spicy foods. Try to drink water, eat vegetables and fresh meat. Intermittent fasting is also a good idea as it gives your body a huge break to heal. Try to eat within a window of time then don't eat again until that same time the next day. Remember every time you eat your body has to stop healing to digest the food. An example would be eating a meal at midday then again at 4pm then stopping till midday the next day. If you like breakfast you can change those times or extend the period but try to give your body a good window here it gets a break.
