Hello,
I was diagnosed with Crohn's 1.5 years ago and was put on Entocort and sulfasalazine. Eventually tapered off entocort and have been on sulfasalazine only, except for 5 days course of prednisone 4 months ago following alot of vomiting and stomach pain.
For the last week, my rectal/anal pain has been very bothersome. No energy and hurts to sit.
Has anyone tried entocort/Budesonide foam enemas?
I had a colonoscopy and MRI of abdomen 4 months ago and nothing alarming.

My adult child used Uceris rectal foam twice
He has a lot of inflammation in the rectum and swears by the foam
Said a it’s a pain to try to keep in
But works well for that area
Less side effects
Over all a win win

I was in the Hospital last year for Crohn's. The Hospital doctors prescribed some kind of rectal foam. Not sure the exact name of it. My health insurance didn't cover it and I needed it badly. If there is an over-the-counter equivalent to this ?
Hello, It's a prescription..I hope my plan covers it, but I really don't know
