had resection surgery in nov 2015 after surgery was hospitalized twice high output dehydration.had take down surgery in feb 2016 since than cronic diareea doc has done upper and lower gi 2cat scans barrium swallow still has not found strcture or fistula says he sees little blip on cat scan wants to do another lower gi currently taking tinture opium any thoughts on last loer gi couldnt get in due to inflamation help:yrolleyes:

Hi sorry for your need of surgery.. iv had ileostomy n take down too. Yes diarrhea is a problem. My gi put me a on questran for sever bile salts malabsorption. It is something you can suffer from after a resection. Questran Seems to keep things pretty much 'normal'. Ask your doc if it maybe the cause for your diarrhea..
