Okay....well yesterday I went for a CT scan. I knew it was with contrast. I knew I had to drink some gross stuff and get an i.v. with the same. What I didn't know until I was in the room was that I was getting an enema with the same stuff. OMG....since right after the test, I have had frequent trips to the bathroom, and i think i'm starting a flare. I'm undiagnosed as of right now, and thats the reason for the test. I go for my colonoscopy next tuesday. First of all....is the enema part of the usual testing for crohns? And has anyone had symptoms of a flare after? I have severe stinging and pain when having a bowel movement.
