lish you can keep the snow, i had too much of that in january. snow or your car seat? better than poo eh? lol
 
We have full sun and beautiful out, everything is melting but the paper says one more blast is coming.... last year April 1st we got 3 ft of snow :( , hope that doesn't happen this year.
 
I like my homemade veggie chilli... would you call it "Chilli sin Carne" or something? Got loads of it bagged up in the freezer but haven't been able to touch it for weeks due to latest flare up.
I rather like sweet chilli sauce... goes well with the tuna fishcakes we make... but can't touch that one either
 
Well... when I can't eat the chillis I can usually eat my homemade veggie bolognese, which is also bagged up in the freezer... that is equally awesome.
When I can't eat the bolognese... then I've really got problems
 
Mmmmm i am a jalepenos person.....love it on burgers, pizzas, nachos,in chilli anything! yum!

all the posh biscuits have gone in the lounge so i came in here to get some, but it seems there aint any here either.

i suck of the orange bit first, the lick the choclate. but i have to eat them before my son sees them.

Sorry!! :) Just got back on here. I think we are going to get rain for a few days here on Long Island. Today it was really nice 50 degrees and my dog was loving it outside! Grey sky but warmer than the weeks before!
 
Lol I know what you mean! I love the warm weather here on Long Island. I enjoy late spring and summer a lot and have fun times during those months! You are not that far of a drive away to enjoy a day out here :) !
 
I actually have a very bad diet and eat fast food quite a bit :( Maybe 2-3 times a week. We don't have White Castle down here, except for the grocery stores.
I ate at one in VA and never wanted to leave!
 
We have a swiss Chalet, which is bbq roasted chicken and it is the only take out I can eat and not die. I had a subway,,, with lettuce... big big mistake!
 
Pen, lettuce KILLS me! Very bad filler.

I know Kim, I'm kinda mad at you for even bringing up WC. :)

We had White Castle on our drive home from Christmas break, first time my hubby ever had it, he ended up in the hospital for a week afterwards...nothing but blood coming out of him, colon severly inflamed and an infection!! The docs were'nt sure if it was the White Castle or if he may have UC! Either way, he won't touch White Castle again!! LOL



I love flip flops! When I lived in Alaska everyone thought I was crazy cause I'd wear them when I needed to go into town while it was snowing!! Can't wait for it to get warm again so that I can break them back out!
 
Oh and I FINALLY figured out the pic thing!!! It's me and the hubby and pre Chron's....A pic now would include me in my sweat pants and a t-shirt with my hair everywhere!!! LOL
 
I know in Nashville they have Krystal's....similar to White Castle....I call Krystal's gut bombs but so does everyone else who doesn't have IBD......

And yes, living in Vegas, I am a Flip Flop wearer, but they hurt my feet if I wear them too long....

I just saw that that new show, undercover boss, is going to be at White Castle this week. ;) I wish we had more good fast food burger places here. Or maybe not....then i'd be eating it more. :p

???? Did they melt? That is funny....I've only done the splits in them. It wasn't pretty!

the track surface is warm yea but they spray the track with a chemical called vht which is a bit like spraying warm concrete with thick sticky sugar coating
so they jus stick an wen ya go to walk they rip the straps out lol

i should of known better lol

not exactly the best but alot better than I was few weeks ago
got a meeting tomorrow morning with the trial nurse about getting on the new drug trial so few tests etc
hope I pass - or fail?? What ever needs be too make it onto the trial
as I don't wanna be like this anymore lol

i wanted to go onto LDN but it not availbale on the NHS, so i looked up, where i could get it privalty. the nearest place is 95 mins train ride away. which wouldve been ok if it was a one trip, but i have go every month.
 
I miss the flip flop action...its juust too cold here...


i got back in the country just at christmas and i had around 10 pairs of jandals (kiwi flip flops.....i miss callling them jandals!) and no pairs of shoes, for the first week i had to wear them til i got over my jetlag enough to go buy some boots!

still wear them around the house tho.....

miss my jandals..........

yeah, they reckoned it was like -10 last night, i felt it!thats with decent central heating and double glazing!

plus i got really used to not having to wear a coat....i hate wearing coats, i mean in the winter in NZ, i was up north so was a bit warmer, but would just throw on a cardigan and a scarf and i was done...

...not so much here...i try but then i get hypothermic....not cool....

but i have not actually left the house in days, off sick at the mo, but my housemate is dragging me to the movies tonight, wonder if i can sneak ensure into the cinema seiing how i will have to forgo the popcorn

....anyhoo will prob get a big shock with the freeeeezing cold....brr!

i wanna go back down under! :(

I've just bought the best flip flops, they're Skechers Tone-ups! They're designed to tone your legs when you walk.
and after just 2 weeks of wearing them every day, my calves and bum are aching off! Boss!

£35 google em skechers have a website, Reebok do em too! and there's some called FitFlops that do the same thing but twice the price!
 
I havent worn flip flops in millions of years lol. I have to wear antipronation shoes, they are runners, New Balance and my insurance pays for them. My foot doctor doesnt believe in orthotics. Both his parents were orthopedic surgeons and never recommended them...great for me!
 
Kids are such a joy huh? LOL. My daughter is 22 now and for the most part indepedent in University, she always wants the best... so I say "make sure you become the doctor you want to be" LOL.

we have the same sort of thing over here, they are called fit flops. and are meant to tone up all your muscles. but the weather has not been good enough for me to wear them outside. boo
 
I for one love flip flops, in the summer its all i wear if I can get away with it! Gotta be a good leather pair though, those plastic or foam ones just make my feet sweat and smell, uck!
 
I can't wear flip flops anymore....I wore them year round for years and years, and ruined my poor little feet....now i have to wear good supportive shoes, or i pay dearly.
 
Thats what I wonder when I see thoes "fit" shoes or sandles that youguys were talking about. Yeah they may be toning your legs but wht else are they doing to your poor feet??
 
Yahoo!!! So happy happy, finally got wireless internet so NO one will be on my computer anymore, my husband and daughter have their OWN laptops! When they are home they can use theirs... so little to make me happy! :biggrin: :ybiggrin: :D

Erazer, your son could be a Kinesthetic learner. We had my daughter on pills for about 6 months cause she was smart in school and had the ability and thought OCD, biopolar, and she is taking Psychology and read a documentary on Kinesthetic learners. She fidgets all the time, and she knows how to deal with it now. BTW adult brains do not fully develop til 21-22, so you can't push them when they are young to decide big decisions!!! Hope this helps you!! She is so much better now!
 
My daughter was saying she thought she was OCD, bi polar, but since is taking psychology (got 100% on her exam a few days ago) she is learning alot for herself..which incidently scares me ....now she analysis me too lol.'

Having a chemical imbalance can be heriditary too. Have him tested too!

maybe they're not challenging him enough, this happened with my son when he was 9, his concentration was terrible, away with the fairies! and daily wobblies!
so we put all his energies into playing the guitar and rugby and he's nearly 16 now and fab

i got my fit flops on amazon, i think they were about £30ish. cant remember exactly, as i get them in the autumn, but havent worn them outside yet.

I looked for these in the UK aisle of my grocery store. I bought them. I don't qualify for the J.A. group. I shall not be buying them again, I was hoping to fall in love =/

My son, trying to be funny said "I think Jaffa means 'stale' in Italian."
 
Jaffa Cakes are very low in fat, and (I think) may be low in sugar too... so quite a good thing to eat if you want to be a bit picky. I'll eat them if they are put in front of me, but I don't think I've ever paid hard cash for a box of them.

My current choccy delight are Lindor chocs... you can get them as choc eggs now... just bought a bag of mini-lindor eggs. It's ok as long as you don't eat too many... I just limit myself to a gross at a time!
 
is it sunny your way agent? my brother lives in yorkshire and he said they had a bit of snow last night.
 
We have our very own climate here as we are in the Pennines. The snow line starts half way up the hill to our house.
It was actually very sunny yesterday... and also right at this moment.... and didn't notice any snow last night. But it seems like we've hardly been free of snow since two weeks before Christmas
 
thats what my brother said!! he was moaning that the kids have had so much time of school that there wasnt any point in buying them a school uniform!!

Wow, do those really work??? I was a bit sceptical about them at first, but now I might just give them a try!:thumleft:
 
God i am sooooooo bored, the meds are keeping me awake and i have nothing to do!!Is anyone else up at this hour and bored aswell? lol xx
 
Our teckie guy was working on a chat, but so far not available, hopefully he will find one soon. When we had a chat before it was awesome, then we had a one they eventually took down because it was not a good one. David is trying to get us one but it takes time.
