I get my third loading infusion this week.
I am still suffering from distal inflammation and diarrhea. Trying to get some other rectal meds to address, but naturally the insurance company is making it difficult. Mesalamine does not seem to be working.
For those of you who might have had this same issue, was Remicade eventually able to eliminate the inflammation “way down the pipe” without the need for ongoing enemas?
Trying to be patient, but I gotta say I’d like to put an end to the nightly ritual.
