If you have joint pain, even if it's Crohn's related then a Rheumatologist is the way to go. I have osteoarthritis from Crohn's and see my Rheumy on a regular basis. One of the main things mine suggests is to get the Crohn's in complete remission (no inflammation at all) and that will help reduce a lot of joint pain. My Rheumy even took over my med treatment for Crohn's because he felt my GI wasn't being very proactive. I highly recommend a Rheumatologist for any chronic joint pain.
