Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency(EPI)

Hi. I was wondering how many on here might happen to have this on here and if there is much difference to IBD? I'm contacting my GI to find a little more about it and thinking about seeing if he might be able to check me for it. Any info would be appreciated!

When my GI responded about this, he said that this is more of a PCP type thing. But, when I see him in February I may find out a little more on this subject...

Ds was tested by his Gi for this
Not his pcp
In his case it was “just crohns flaring”
Not epi
Easy test
Not sure why your Gi couldn’t order the testing since it would affect the pancreas -an area covered by Gi docs
