I was diagnosed with UC in 2006.:devil: I have been taking Asacol this whole time up until about 6 months ago. I was put on Delzicol and I felt like it wasn't working for me at all. I am constantly running to the restroom it is so frustrating. I am kind of at the end of my rope. I feel so uncomfortable with this. My stomach feels like its in knots, it makes a rumbling sound, and sometimes I just have sit down. I don't know what to do!

It may be the formulation and way in which it's released because the drug is supposed to be the same. I know a lot of ppl are upset that the former was discontinued.
Can you try another drug? There are quite a few 5-ASA's and you may find one similar to Asacol.
