Gastric Enteral Feedings

Has anyone out there ever been a candidate for Gastrostomy feedings to promote weight gain and growth? For those who cannot tolerate an NG tube is this something that is considered? I am surprised I don't read more about it as it seems a reasonable solution for those who cannot tolerate the NG tube, vomit easily, or have a strong gag reflex and certainly away to achieve better growth?

HI stacey , leya is on feeding though her stomach as she kept pulling out the ng tube which wasnt reall that nice for her to have it put back all the time,
