Gross question...

Not sure I could ask anyone outside this forum, it relates to bowel movements.

I am currently on tetracycline for bacterial overgrowth. Most of my movements are on the loose side. I have seen some clumps pass that look sort of cloudy with small stick-like projections. I did take some pictures, and am getting a scope in a month so I will have them for my GI to peruse. Best guess that I have is a fungal colony sort of thing.

Has anyone here seen something like that before?

No blood - seen some images that suggest it could be Candida. It also suggests that it happens when it is dying out - confusing as tetracycline isn't supposed to work on candida. Maybe the tetra is killing off whatever was supporting the candida?
