Hey Steve,

Congrats on the results (even though it still leaves you in the dark) as well as being smoke free! This is something that is beneficial if you do have Crohn's Diesase. It (for some weird reason) can make Ulcerative Colitis symptoms worse (when you quit smoking). I do not think anyone yet knows why nicotine has this effect, but it sure is interesting.

Thanks for the update!

It's odd to read, even in books written by mayo clinic says UC can benefit from smoking, but not crohns.

great news Steve. save the worry for tomorow :)
smoke free is good news as well... I suppose if you notice your symptoms improve.. you might be able to lean towards assuming its CD, and if your symptoms get worse.. maybe UC. lol, tell your DR you figured it out on your own maybe?! lol good luck with everything.

p.s. hope the weather is nice there :) Jonny and I are off to Vegas tomorow morning :)
