Hi Everyone

Hi. My name is Curt.
I was diagnosed with severe crohns about 16 months ago. What an awful disease. I hate it. At first like most people l didn’t know what was wrong with me. The constant running to the toilet, the unexplained losing weight, the sore joints in your body. The list goes on.
My doctor here in Perth Australia pretty much saved my life.
He has guided me through all the numerous blood tests and drug trials. The end result was humira. I can’t praise this drug enough. It has given my life back again. To feel normal again is awesome. I met my now wife when l was at my most sickest now I’m beaming. I’m not sure how long the drug will last or how long it will keep me in remission for but for the moment l love it.
To be honest l don’t like injecting it as it hurts like hell but for the 10 secs of pain compared to the lifetime of toilets and embarrassing moments l would endure 100 needles at once.
Good to be on here and l hope l can be of any help to anyone who needs it.
All the best.

Hello Curt...you are so right...it is an awful disease but modern medicine has much to offer these days.
It is so good to hear you are responding so well to Humira and you may now have a long time solution for treatment of your Crohns.
It is important to maintain all medical appointments as I’m sure you will have been told by
your GI specialist.
Keep up the good work
