Hi! my name is waikia and i been on here once before now im back. I been diagnose in dec.2011 with Crohns after having and emergency surgery to drain my abscess. its been and roller coaster but im dealing with it. im taking humira now my doctor took me off pentasa and im here to make new friends.

Welcome. How are you doing on Humira? How long have you been on it?

I'm doing good on it but hate the pen injections very painful. and i been on humira since march 2012

You can switch to the syringe since you decide how fast or slow the injection goes in.

okay i didnt know i can switch and thank you very much dont know much about crohns but is it normal to have mucus with my BM?

Mucus is very common with crohn's, in fact all stool has a little mucus. I wouldn't be alarmed by it unless it is accompanied by blood. Certainly worth discussing with your doctor because if the mucus is a strange color that may be a bad sign.
